Band 4+: The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

The bar chart below provides information about the percentage of Australian males and females in seperate groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

The chart is divided to 6 different age groups; 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 and 65+. For 15 to 24 group, physical activity for males is above 50 percent on the other hand for females the percent is 47,7. 42,2 percent of the males who are between 25 to 34 do’s physical activity oftenly and for females the percentage slightly increased to 48,9.The middle aged group (35 to 44), the statistics for males decreased by 3 percent to 39,5 meanwhile it rose to 52,5 percent for females. Males of the 45 to 54 age group’s physical activity climbed to 43,1 percent and stayed nearly the same for females with 53,3 percent. For age groups 54 and over, the numbers are similar however, there has been a downward trend for females from 53 to 47 percent.

Overall, it is observed that the percentage of males who prefers doing physical activity dips when the age becomes older. Nevertheless, for females the percentage fluctuated over the age groups.
