Making mothers and fathers join in parenting courses annually is the most effective method to guarantee an ecstatic family life. From my overall perspective, I partly agree with the statement as it also bring about some drawback to many households.
On the one hand, parents intending parenting courses every year is not really essential. This is because instead of learning parental skills in centers or through professional programs, they can gain a significant amount knowledge of parenting by seeking multiple sources on the Internet. This approach is not only assist them in considerably improving their parenting education, but also help them take care of their children and get their work done simultaneously. Furthermore, this way might cause some financial problems to a large number of households, especially the modest-income ones. This reason can be explained that a wide range of households today struggle to maintain a moderate level of financial stability due to swift emergence of many new jobs, which are more valuable and yield more beneficial outcomes for both society and national economy. Consequently, these parents would have difficulties in being promoted and increasing their turnover from their careers, so if they decide to take part in parenting courses, they may no longer maintain financial stability.
On the other hand, I believe that both mothers and fathers joining in parenting courses per year can brings some benefits to their families. Firstly, they could gain a significant amount of practical and helpful parenting skills thanks to professional programs or educated mentors. For instance, a study in American indicated that an increasing number of parents in this country have been participating in many different parenting courses, which has positively affected many households and enhanced family life quality. Additionally, this method could improve parents’ deep understanding about their kids. This is because they are carefully educated about the outside elements that might detrimentally affect their youngsters, making them empathize with numerous influences that their kids are dealing with and communicate regularly in order to support and encourage them. Therefore, it will strengthen family bonds and minimize family arguments or conflicts.
In conclusion, making mothers and fathers taking part in parenting courses every year could have some disadvantages such as difficulties in keeping their finances in balance and its lack of necessity. Conversely, I firmly think that this approach has two main advantages: parents’ deep empathy for their children and acquiring more useful and practical child-rearing knowledge.
