Band 5+: The best way to reduce poverty in developing countries is by giving up to six years of free education, so that they can at least read, write, and use numbers. To what extend do you agree or disagree

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is commonly believed that is the most valuable method to reduce poverty in developing countries is by providing free education for childrens to teach them reading, writing and using numbers for six years minimum. I totaly agree because learning these basics can improve the child life experience and knowledge. In addition, it can provide more job opportunities in the future. On the other hand, six years of learning reading and writing only can be waste of the children time without any effective solution.

Improving the life experience and the knowledge of childrens is a huge reason of how this education can reduce poverty. when the childrens after these six years learn how to read, write and using numbers they can start to develop these skills in their life earlier so they will be more confident and independent in their life and as a result, they will know how to earn money and how to start a bussiense and all these methods and thinking ways, and if every one of them think about it and start to improve their earnings this will lead to reduce poverty in society. Thus, knowing the basics of life such as reading and writing is the key of a huge number of locked doors.

Moreover, Providing more job opportunities in the future also is a huge result that education can lead to. Learning and knowing how to read and write and how to deal with numbers is a big advantage when appllying to any job these days. For example, when two persons apply for a job one of them can write and read and deal with numbers with some experince and good knowledge and the other person has the same experince and knowledge or maybe better than the first one but he can not write or read, it is common that the human resource officer will choose the one who can read and write. Thus, learning how to read and write can provide more job opportunities.

On the other hand, taking six years from the childrens lifes just to teach them how to read and write could be a waste of their time which can be filled by learing some real skills can help them to have a job and work like handicrafts or farming and fishing skills. For example, a huge number of parents in my town take their childrens to their own work to teach them how does it work and how to do it right so they start to work there without any kind of learning or educating.
