At present, problems of traffic and transportation are everyone’s concerns. Because of that, people have come up with many solutions to solve the obstacle about traffic congestion. Include the opinion that advocating people for urban residency over suburban or rural living. As I see it, that solution can brings us many benefits but I believe that it’s not the best way to reduce the problem of traffic jam. First of all, people who advocate of encouraging people to live in cities argue that it can mitigates the traffic congestion and some difficulty of traffic. They often state that cities provide to us strong traffic systems, so people don’t have to depend on their own vehicles. Moreover, they have also an opinion that if residentials lives in cities, they will be close to their workplaces, school and leisure activities in order to reduce the needs for travel of residents and minimize traffic gridlocks. But that solution is not absolutely effective. Because the fact that cities have difficulties about traffic congestion, insufficient parking and overloaded public transport systems. Additionally, encouraging mass migration to cities could put a strain on existing infrastructure, potentially exacerbating rather than mitigating traffic problems. In my standpoint, the best way to solve traffic issues, we should improve transportation networks across all regions. For instance, if we enhance the bus routes and well-designed bike lanes in suburban areas can encourage people to use public transportation, through that we can reduce traffic gridlocks. By the same token, in rural areas, provides of shared transportation services, develops public transport systems and uses an advanced traffic management system to monitor traffic conditions, predict congestion points and adjust traffic signals accordingly to optimize traffic flow will help us easily to manage roads and reduce traffic congestion.
On the whole, supporting to people to live in suburbs can bring us some progress about traffic. On the contrary, it’s not mean that solution doesn’t bring us any risks. Some better ways to develop about traffic in the world are improve public transportations and encourage people to use shared means of transportation instead living in suburban areas.
