Many people believe that team sports at school is the best way to teach children to cooperate. I totally disagree with this statement that schools use team sports for teaching their cooperation ,because other activities can teach cooperation not only team sports and not all children like to play sports. In this essay I will give an idea and identify an example.
Firstly, team sports can help their teamwork because playing sports with a team like friends or classmates can teach them how to be a good team. A good team needs to have collaboration and also communicate with others. For example, team sports such as basketball or football the main skill that everyone should have is teamwork and responsibility. Everyone should have those skills by learning from school or from their parents and they will have teamwork by communicating and cooperation. Therefore, team sports can teach children to cooperate.
Secondly, other activities can teach partnership because not every child likes to play sports. So, schools provide many ways to teach cooperation ,not only through team sports, such as music clubs, drama activities ,and group projects. For instance, schools should teach children to work together in group assignments where they must share their ideas and help each other to complete the project. Through these activities, children can learn important skills like communication, responsibility, and teamwork. As a result, they can develop cooperation skills even if they are not interested in sports.
In conclusion, sports teams are useful for children to provide cooperation. But school should use more methods to teach children how to have those skills with different way , this method would be the most effective solution.
