It is widely known that smoking habit is hard to break, depite the consequences of smoking are dangerous and aware. This essay discuss that people are addicted to smoking due to the strees in life and influence of entertainment industry. It can be reduced with limitting accessibility to cigrattes and advising individual to take responsibility.

The first cause of continue smoking habit could be from the general stress in work in today’ society. As the modern working environments are more and more demanding and competitive which make the adult life becoming more challenging. It leads the adults to take refuge in smoking for short-term get away from stress. Hence, it is normal to see smoking rooms in public places, and even in work places. As a result, it is normalised in our society seeing a group males smoking arroud the bar, and at the corner of the street. Another contributing factor for people continue smoking could be from the influence of entertainment industry. Many Hollywood movies show the sence of a cool actor or actress, smoking to impress thier counterparts, or smoking due to depressing situation. Such film can influence people’ behavior to copy in real life.

In order to counter smoking habit, firstly, governent can reduce accessibility of cigrattes in public through taxation on products. The tax on the producers will affect the price of the products. The higher price on the products will impact on the demand. It will lead to reduce the production, hence, will limit the accessibility. In addtion, people can take individual responsibility to stop smoking. Even if they are can take the consequences of the smoking such as effect on their own health, they should be aware of second hannd smoking. Therefore, smoker should take once responsibilites to take thierselves to exercieses to reduce work stress.

To conclude, smoking habit can stop through the individual takinng responsiblities and government taxing on the products. It can also recommed that more researches should be done to help the addiction stop.
