Some people have solid grounds for supposing that detailed criminal reports may affect individuals detrimentally and create significant social problems, thus they believe that the media should be under strict control. Personally, I strongly agree that the media platforms should have be under strict control.
In modern society, it is crucial to have limited access to detailed illegal actions, as it may provoke innocent people to complete criminal actions. By this we mean that, individuals may be provoked by this reports, consequently other benign people will suffer and it will cause serious societal problems. Hence, it may significantly influence level of crime in the country, leading to unrest within the population.
Furthermore, it can also cause moral destruction of immature generation, meaning that teenagers may be involved to the activities without acknowledging the fact of their illegal actions and its consequences. The media has strong moral responsibility and impact, so everything they publish may affect society and negatively influencing teenagers. Even published little criminal actions such as mugging and vandalism may negatively affect the mental formation, leading to bigger criminal operations, due to the fact that detailed reports may contribute to the formation of the basis of even more violent actions.
Nevertheless, the fact that can not be left neglected is that the media can actually help with warning parents to looking after their descendants carefully and working with their mental health to keep them away from criminal behaviour.
To sum up, although the media platforms may spread some unsecured information, it does not mean that the media should be banned at all. However, the media needs strict control to save privacy of some undesirable content,
