The map illustrates detailed information about Grange Park, originally established in 1920, and the same park after its transformation today.
Overall, it can be easily seen that this public park experienced several significant upgrades, including an upgraded water complex featuring a pond for water plants and a fountain, an expanded stage specialized for music events, and additional new buildings and an entry for vehicles.
Upon closer examination, the garden in 1920 had only two entrances, located in the eastern and western parts of the park. Not only did they remain in their original places, but constructors also built a special entryway for cars. Previously, the middle of the park was occupied by a fountain. The rose garden has been moved to the center and is now surrounded by four benches that were previously in separate parts of the park. Instead of just leaving the fountain and pond untouched, workers created a water feature that acts as both a pond for numerous plants and a decorative fountain in the southwestern part of the park.
Moreover, in the place of the pond and rose garden, there are now two extra buildings: a café and a children’s playground, providing refreshments and fun experiences for youngsters, respectively. Similar to some other parts of the park, one of the three rose gardens remained unchanged, but the musicians’ stage near the garden has seen significant modification by being turned into a multifunctional amphitheater for concerts with a bigger capacity.
