I think it is a good idea to build a new university in my community, however it is a debatable issue as the new buildings of the institution will only benefit to my community. In this essay , I will state some advantages and disadvantages and express my view on establishing a new university in my area.
The benefit of this is having a school nearby for my children. This will be a beneficial factor for my family. This will create libraries and other facilities that can be used to read books and do reasearch. This will raise many job opportunities for people when construction will take place like carpentry, painter, electrician and many more. Others can apply for teaching or management jobs. Many book stores, cafes and medical stores will open in my area. This will also help local shops and vendors to run their business effectively.
Building a new institute has its own drawback. The noise of constructing the building and the traffic it creates will cause a huge distraction. The pollution will affect the environment of my community and will cause health diseases such as Asthma, many breathing issues and hearing problems.
In conclusion, I think that I would support government’s decision for establishing a new university in my locality. Though it has some downside but I believe that this new college building will raise many educated young people and will also raise the economy of my local area.
