Nowadays,some people believe that the government should sometimes infringe upon civil liberties for the safety of the community.I totally agree with this opinion. because I believe that this approach helps to prevent potential risks ,threats and ensures that safety rules are being observed.
One of the reasons is this rule can protect people from danger . Because in certain jobs such as driver,pilot….., if you don’t work safely and responsibly, not just one person but hundreds of people’s lives can be in danger .As a result ,the government needs to come up with a solution to prevent it.For example , they need to clamp down and and require comprehensive health checks to ensure drivers don’t use alcohol ,they are alert enough and do not feel tired .Beside the government should make it mandatory for vehicles to be maintained after a certain period of time to protect people from danger.
Another reason is that violation of people’s freedoms is enforced to make sure that safety regulations are followed . for example,In some countries, the police have the right to conduct random checks of some vehicles to ensure the safety of society.Or in airpot, Luggage must be strictly checked by security staff before being brought on the plane . This make ensure the rules are obeyed and protect people’safety.
To sump up ,I totally agree that the government should sometimes regulate individuals’ freedom for a stable and sound society.
