The chart illustrates information about the changes in the cost of three metals; copper,zinc and nickel in the year 2014.
Overall,it is clear that the nickel’s price fluctuated more than other two. Furthermore,all three metals price rate touched the lowest point in the middle of the year.
In the initial month, nickel’s cost rate was increased by 6% being the highest among all,which then Sharply dropped to 1% in March, before reaching to negative 3% in June. After That, it’s rate inclined to negative 1% which remained constant till September. Moreover, it’s cost increased to 1% in the end of the year.
On the other hand, copper and zinc costs rate was accounted for 2 and 1% in first month, gradually dropping to 0.5 and negative 1% in June, respectively. However, zinc revealed an increment in it’s price by 2% surpassing copper and nickel in the final month. Similarly, copper’s rate also increased to just below 2% by the end of 2014.
