Nowadays, keeping biodiversity becomes more vital, because a big number of species are under constant pressure by changing surroundings. As a main reason for these changes, humanity should help nature to maintain biodiversity. There are many things that can be done, but I will come up with two of the most significant: creation of reservations and fighting pollution.
The most obvious thing to do is just let nature take its course. A lot of species coped somehow before the human era, so they can still do it now. Areas like national and regional parks, nature reserves can answer this question. Such places can preserve habitat conditions that keeped there for centuries. As humans’ impact on biodiversity progressively becomes more significant, it is better to reserve nature as soon as possible.
The other way to help nature is to decrease indirect impact. Air, water and soil pollution even in kilometers from animal habitats can harm them. These changes involve more changes as it nature everything is connected. So it is hard to understand how humanity already changed other species’ destiny. Such a decision to decrease the amount of pollution will slow down temps of metamorphosis that is happening to nature right now.
To conclude, it is very important to maintain biodiversity as everything in nature is connected. So, if humanity does not want to cause a catastroph better to start thinking now. The steps that can help to deal with that are not so hard: let nature take its course and stay out of its way.
