Band 4: The increase in the world's population is leading to serious social and environmental problems. What are these problems and how can they be solved? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

In today’s world the rapid increase of human numbers are leading to significant social and environmental issues.The cause to these problems are primarly because of inconsistance of natural resources and unemployment.This essay wil discuss these problems and give possible solutions such as promotion of renewable energy and governmental help.

One major witnessing for overpopulation is inconsistence of environment.With the increase of world’s population new problem appears: overusing of natural resources.More and more people are demanding land,food and energy which is limited in earth.For instance,almost half of the India’s citizens,country which is considered to be the most populated in the world,are suffering with starvation and lack of energy sources.This,in its case,leads to such serious problems as weakness of their immune system and frequency of diseases.Another significant problem lies in insufficiency of work spaces.Apparenty,the number of people searching for a job is much higher than actual number of employers required.This can result in high score of crimes and breaking the social rules.

Despite all this issues,several ways to solve this problem can be used.Firstly,renewable energy sources can be introduced.Electrical sources which are bad for the environment can now be replaced with natural ones.Such factors as sun and wind power are being used in some countries,and are already showing good results .This can solve many global problems like deforestation and save our ecosystem.Furthermore,the government can create specific courses for modern industries to help citizen’s get qualified and find them a working place.For example,nowadays social networks have become one of the main ways to earn money,hence,demand for this industry has significantly growed.Job seekers could get educational classes, then become certificated specialists.

In conclusion,no matter the fact that overpopulation can lead to serious consequences,many solutions such as help of country leaders and new source of natural power can be introduced.If all the people will start making their own impact it will help us to create sustainable environment for the future generations.
