Damage over time is a natural phenomenon. However the number of tourists, who are looking for famous landmarks are increasing over the years and it is unfortunately causing the destruction of the famous and historic places, which are holding the secret and identity of human being.
The main reason of this destruction can be summed up to 2 words mass tourism, and because it is caused by us we need to find solution to this problem.
Large-scale tourism is a major cause of damage on landmarks. Often this is inadvertent, as people visit them to know about their history, explore the part that they never get to experience, and to admire how much ability a human being holds. Sometimes, however, this destruction is more of our fault as some people tend to be careless with the masterpiece and don’t understand polluting these areas cause so much trouble, later.
There are two main ways to preserve our landmark as it is now. The first is by giving education to people about the harm, which is being made by them, and it’s result, though it may not be that effective way because some individuals often ignore this type of warnings. The second way is to put protection on the landmarks, like securities who look after the place and warn people.
In summary, we have to preserve our famous and historic places and we have to work hard to make them stay for a long time.
