In order to ensure the continuity of the future generations, it is of utmost importance to sacrifice the convenience today’s generation. I completely agree with this statement due to the fact that, because of human behaviour and industrial sites, we may only have until 2050 to mitigate this issue before it causes catastrophic and irreversible damage to our ozone layer according to experts. Furthermore, other sacrafices such as banning plastic or non-recycleable materials can further benefit the upcoming generations’ well being.
One major reason why it is the responsibility of the current generation to maintain environmental cleanlines is because, according to experts if we were to continue our current behaviours witht the way we industrialize and produce goods, it is likely that we’d only have until 2050 to lessen the effects that is caused upon our environment. The main contributors to air pollution is the industrial activities that mankind runs. Leaving this issue for the latter generations to deal with would place their continuity in jeopardy like state. Hence why it would be of much benefit of the present generation to take some innitiative and help lessen the blow of our enironmental footprint. Additionally, it would be i’llbehaved or careless of the current generation not to take any action, repeating the same as those who came before them during the industrialization era of man-kind.
Furthermore, another major factor to our environment is plastic pollution. Not only does this effect our own lives via microplastics entering our sources of food, but it also affects those around us, especially the wildlife. If taken action to reduce or even minimize plastic usage, our environment can be given the chance bloom. Which inturn will help purify the air quality. Opting for more eco-friendly metrials like paper or when it comes to documents, choosing to fill them online, can drastically reduce our waste emmisions and provide a step towards a cleaner environmental footprint.
All in all, it is without a doubt the current generation’s responsibility to ensure the continuation of the future generations. Taking steps to minimize our environmental footprint by actually carrying the burden and responsibility will help the survival of the future generations.
