In the era of globalization, numerous issue and topic are subjected to debate and one of the topic is libraries should give space for high-tech media. I am partially agree with that statement and the following paragraph I will demonstrate the reason with suitable example.
To begin with, libraries are the important part of our life and it is not only for to gain the opportunity form ocean of knowledge but it gives opportunity to be a good human being. Technology is given opportunity to positive way and there are many resources like computer software, videos and DVDs etc. a book can give knowledge about one topic but limited resource and on the other way through the internet a person can get knowledge about same topic but vast information. There also opportunity to combine all of book at same time and same place and match to each other by technology.
Secondly, technology is costly and everybody will not able to effort that. It means it is not easy for poor person to effort that. Moreover, a poor person if want to acquire knowledge can freely accesses that. For that reason, libraries should arrange that and provide for all of person. To build the society knowledge is everything and need to boost up them like this way.
On the other hand, there are some fear about misuse of technology. People come here for study but some time they use it for personal use like chatting, gaming and other purposes. Which is not good for society. The environment of library are always should calm and pleasant but use of computer for gaming can hamper the environment and disturb the mindset from study.
To conclude that, though it has some drawback like personal use but it is also helpful for all of us for gain knowledge because it is like ocean and I believe its benefit outweigh the drawback.
