The decline of plant and animal life occurs because of human activites and one of the main causes is habitat loss. Habitat loss is unavoidable when there is overharvesting because of high demands for accommodations and other facilities have increased these days. Since the global population is growing, the demands for land and building materials also increasing, such as people have to cut down many trees to meet the increasing consumption of wood for constructions and buildings. Climate change which, is also the biggest threat to plants and plant life around the world. Climate change causes rising temperatures and changes in precipitation patterns that prevent plants from surviving in their natural habitats. As a result, the loss of single flower can alter an ecosystem.
Fortunately, there are also several solutions to decrease the falling number of animals and plants. As long as more volunteer campaigns are organized to create homes for creatures whose habitat are destroyed by human territorial expansion, they will be kept away from lurking dangers, such as natural disasters and poaching. Moreover, switching sustainable transportation by reducing car use and minimising plane travel will also help to stop climate change. This will decrease the usage of fossils fuels, which have a large impact on climate change.
