In globalized world, in many cities are occuring population growth inceasingly, there are several fundamental reasons that are high quality-education, well-paid jobs, and also more advanced and modern life. In my opinion, a wide range of proactive measures can be implemented by local authorities to sustain the quality of life among elderly residents.
On the one hand, many urban centers’ populations are growing rapidly. Due to the fact that there are high-quality education, well-paid salary, and developed facilities which play a crucial role in human’s lives. These kinds of coneviences are significantly impact on individuals’ decisions such as studying at prestigious universities in urban hubs and also in order to other purposes they are inclined to metropolitan cities. Undoubtedly, this can lead to overpupulation. Overpopulation means many people rely heavily on their private vehicles and which causes traffic congestion during rush hours around large cities. As a result, they may feel higher stress, be late for important meeting or work. In addition, a huge amount of toxic gases released by using private cars more than ever before reduces the quality of air and causes noise pollution. This is really a big issue for people who have asthma and respiratory diseases.
On the other hand, one preventive measure to maintain their quality of life is investing more money in rural areas. Because of this, outlying areas are not as well-developed as cities, and they need significant improvements in medicine, transportation, shopping centers, and other essential facilities for people’s lives. In addition, other forward-looking measure is using electric cars, bicycles, and public transport. When people start using these modes of transports consistently, they contribute significantly to preserving the environment. Furthermore, to restore the detoriorated environement and improve the air quality, large-scale tree planting and urban greening are essential. If these measures are implemented, the overall quality of life will significantly enhance.
In conclusion, although cities’ population contrinues to grow, this can be adressed by implementing key measures such as investing more money in regional areas, using public tranposrts and planting trees. As I mention , these steps will help enhance the quality of life both in metoplation cities and countryside.
