Repetition plays a vital role to remember some educational information for a log time. Many students of our society apply this method for learning new things in their study life. Personally, I am firmly convinced that there are some advantages of this system, its drawbacks significantly outweigh them. This essay will discuss from my perspective, and I will give some reasons and relevant examples that will support my stance properly.
To begin with, the most compelling disadvantage associated with this issue is that memorizing things cannot use a variety of educational sectors perfectly. This stems from the fact that when students memorize important lessons by repeating again and again, they cannot use these memorizing things properly in their academic contexts like during math solving or practical working. As a result, students depend on memorizing instead of obtaining practical skills. For example, a student learnt some scientific lessons by memorizing, but he/ she cannot repeat one week or two weeks, so they cannot use these lessons during his/her examinations or even during math problem solving.
Another pivotal drawback aligned with this development is that reducing creative skills. This attributed to the fact that when students try to memory all things in their life, they cannot evolve their practical skills remarkably. On the other hand, students are afraid to solve a wide range of mathematical problems. Consequently, students cannot foster their cognitive knowledge sharply because of depending too much on memorizing. For instance, recent study in the United States of Americal revealed that those who universities or phd students memorize most of the things instead of proper understanding during their academic years, they cannot make
Despite these drawbacks, there are some advantages of this trend is that memorizing can students achieve desired band score in their exams. The underlying reason is that frequently repetition information like laws of scientific subjects can assist students to gain a good mark in their exams; however, it is not constructive because need more practice and practical knowledges than memorizing information. So, students need memory information and implement in their academic sectors simultaneously.
To sum up, although there are some benefits of memorizing information, its drawbacks significantly outweigh the positive aspects of this issue. Aforementioned discussion in para two and three clearly demonstrates that too much memorizing things is detrimental for all age groups of students. Ultimately, implication of this trend is far more disadvantageous than advantageous, making it a worrisome trend in future generations.
