Band 5+: The prevention of health problems and illness is more important that treatment and medicine. Government funding should reflect this.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Owing to the problem which a growing health issues of the nation cause for the health care system, it is thought that the prevention of illness is more needed than treatment. I completely agree that government spending should prioritize the prevention of illnesses at early stages, before treatment and medication become necessary. This essay will discuss the fact that the cost and result of this solution shows

Nowadays, it is cheaper for government funding to prevent the health problems of the citizens. First of all, usually government provides screenings on the free base in the hospitals, in which people can check the possibility of having cancer and other severe diseases over the specific period. Secondly, if the patient diagnosed with chronic illness, he should be taken on dispensary account, thereby a part of the allocation of funds go on its specific medications and equipment. However, it can be avoided by the initial detection of the change of physical condition.

Moreover, such government adjustment can help to expand the lifespan and improve the quality of the nation’s life. The propaganda of the healthy lifestyle, which consists of clean eating, physical exercises, avoiding sedentary lifestyle and stressful situations, helps to prophylaxis the health issues and make life longer. For instance, Buddhists monks have long-lasting lives due to ostracized lifestyle and feeding habits. Furthermore, the patient’s early awareness of the alternation of physical condition can decrease the possibility of development from acute to chronic phases, autoimmune conditions and severe diseases.

In conclusion, the government’s budgetary adjustments should be reconsidered to prior the prevention of health problems and issues, because it is more profitable and affordable, also has better effect on the life of the nation.
