Major cities have recently been facing the rise of crime rates as extreme challenges. One of the reasons behind this is overpopulation and encouraging low birthrate can be a factor to tackle the problem above.
Overpopulation is deeply connected to the increase in crime rates in bigs cities. The larger the population, the more criminals being born. The pursuit of crime always exists and could never be absolutely treated. Too many people also put pressure on management, employment and education. The amount of citizens being too much makes it harder for authorities to manage and educate. Number of unemployed and uneducated people increasing leads to the rise of criminal activities in major metropolitans with crowded people. Researches show that scarcely populated cities have around 35% less in criminals compared to overly crowded cities.
As a result, encouraging people to give birth of fewer kids could be the solution to the rise of crime rates in metropolitans. Fewer children make educating jobs easier and more focused. Children being taken care of properly have higher chances of becoming healthy adults later in life. Furthermore, not everyone is suitable to take the role of being parents. Consequently, people who are forced to be parents later on behave abusively and violently. Adolescents suffering terrible upbringing backgrounds tend to be involved in legally activities. According to researchs, around 91% of criminals born from abusive, violent and neglectful background.
In conclusion, the increase in criminals has been a threat in major cities due to the population being overly large. However this issue could be tackled by the encouragement of low birthrate.
