Advertising in modern society is universal on the radio, television,the internet and in our letterboxes also. While, advertising has ample disadvantages , the positive influence of advertising outweigh the negative. So, I completely disagree that there should be ban on all advertisements . My viewpoint will be discussed in upcoming paragraphs with suitable conclusion.
Indeed, advertising provides us with information on new products.As,it helps to attract wide range of consumer in just few time. Additionally, advertising industry creates thousands of jobs . Apart from this , it also act as backbone of many economies of the world . In -addition, ads touch us with social issues. Firstly, it give us awareness about product , or what is trending in the market . Many companies opt difference methods of advertising. For instance, social awareness is spread by many famous personalities such as Akshay kumar encourage womens to use sanitary pads instead of cloth because it prevents various inflections . By watching these kinds of ads mostly people get inspired and purchase that product.
On the other hand , it also has negative points firstly, they are distrubing when they come right in the mid of programme . Furthermore, some advertisements also influence or affect the person mentally . For example a cold drink ‘red bull’ . When it was newly launched most affecting tagline was used to attract wide range of coustomer, which was ‘ red bull gives you wings ‘ . After that a boy complained in court that I had drink alot of red bull bottles but till now not any kind of wings are visible on my body . However, they disagree that we are not targeting the wings that used to fly but afterall company paid alot of amount as compensation . Then they changed their tagline. Lastly , ads also target the childrens as mostly pupils get influenced by them and force their parents to purchase that product for them .
In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that reasons for my disagreement is valid, because ads are crucial tool , for promoting product and thousands of opportunities are engaged with them .
