The table illustrates population growth, average birth per woman and life expactancy during birth, all based on different income levels in nations in the years 2002 and 2004.

As regards growth of population, low income countries stood at first with highest increment in population growth in the years 2002 and 2004, which was recorded at 2.0% and 1.8 %, respectively. The lowest growth was witnessed in high income countries, which ranges between 0.7%- 0.8%, while it remained same in middle income countries, which was registered at 0.9%.

Turning to average birth per woman, it was just above 2 in middle income nations in years 2002 and 2004, whereas, it mounted at 3.9 and 3.7 in the respective years. Interestingly, it remained at 1.7 in high income income nations in both of the years. Moving to life expectancy at birth, high income nations took lead with significant figures which were 78.0 and 78.7 in the years 2002 and 2004, respectively. Following it was the middle income countries where life expectancy was amounting to 69.1 and 70.0 in the respective years 2002 and 2004; however it was just below 59 in low income countries.

Overall, low income countries had more population growth and average birth per woman, but life expectancy at birth stood highest in high income countries.
