It is often argued that the values we acquire from our parents and family have a stronger impact on our success in comparison to the knowledge and the skills we get at school. I completely disagree with this statement, as I believe that both of them have a crucial in young generation’s path to achievement.
First of all, learning principles from parents and family is considered to be an essential part for personal development, as they provide individuals with core values. Significant qualities of human such as honesty, responsibility or self-confidence are developed from an early age within a supportive family environment. Moreover, it has been observed that these values have an important influence on how a person respond in diverse situations throughout their life. For instance, a well-disciplined, responsible person raised in a supportive family is more likely to be hardworking and motivated, which helps to reach great heights in the future.
However, it is worth confession that foundational education and practical abilities imparted by professional teachers at school hold a great importance in shaping the younger generation. For example, an honest, hardworking person, who intends to establish an organization will definitely need not only core values, but also basic knowledge gained at school such as economics, management, planning skills. Therefore, without understanding these fields, the future prosperity of any company can be under threat. Additionally, there is one more factor worth mentioning: the foundation that school provides, namely the acquisition of skills such as problem-solving and social communication, which will be essential for advancing in any career path.
In conclusion, principles, foundational values instilled at home can shape a strong personal character traits, while individuals will be enable to struggle with real-world challenges due to their solid knowledge and skills learned at school
