Some people believe that the values learned by family members play a huge role in our future success compared to knowledge or any abilities that we study in academic settings. However, I disagree with this statement. Since individuals spend most of the time outside, knowing different subjects as well as essential skills are developed in education.
To begin with, despite learning crucial abilities and knowledge that lead to success from our parents in our lives, we mostly spend our time at school or university, and others develop similar knowledge. At school, each person is taught a different education, including foreign languages, solving mathematical equations, and historical facts, which are the most significant subjects for everyone. For example, having studied an external language by an individual is crucial stuff, especially when a person wants to travel abroad or desires to teach a learned language, while knowing how to solve challenging duties in math helps to think creatively and make decisions quickly. Therefore, constructing different knowledge is essential for a person’s behavior.
In addition, becoming exposed to various environments is a vital aspect of developing skills. Schools can provide and organize classes and conferences where many students are able to show their skills, encompassing communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. The following talents evolve when each individual works as a team. For instance, in each field of life, communication is a crucial skill for future success in order to respond and make requests quickly. Therefore, being in a diverse environment with many people helps to enhance abilities, and schools can ensure practical lessons for everyone.
To sum up, while we learn values from our family members, basic knowledge and skills, which are crucial for future luck, are taught in school.
