Nowadays, many people have been using work from home as their way of working. This method has increase significantly since the pandemic Covid-19. This essay will discuss the causes of the problem and what effects does it have on society.
It is widely known that, in digital era many people are connected each others with technology devices through internet. For instance, people can collaborate in their work with internet, and it makes the productivity increase significantly. During the pandemic, workers from a lot of company have been adopting working from home because it gives them effective and efficient method to do their job, and it enables capability for doing meeting and discussion of anywhere.
Another major causes to rising trend of working home is level of density population in many cities increasing in every year. It related to number of private vehicles which used by people in the daily activities. For example, Jakarta has population more than 10 millions people and traffic jam always occurred almost in every day. This condition make society choose other option to work, from old working habit into working from home.
There is effect which appear around the society after trend working increasing until currently. Many people who implementing working from home needs work environment which support its working way. Some companies do not support this method, so workers who do not want to leave their working from home need to be adapt or move to another company.
In conclusion, rising trend of working from home is caused by pandemic season, and need of effective, efficient, and collaborative way of working from anywhere.
