There are two primary causes for the increasing noise in cities. Firstly, the huge of number of vehicles on the road is the biggest factor. Traffic congestion is common in urban areas and drivers constantly using their horns and create noise pollution near the areas such as parks. Second, commercial businesses are significantly contributing to the issue. They commonly use loud music to attract customers. When these activities happen close to public spaces, it gets harder for people to find quiet zones.
To solve this problem government and urban planners should take effective steps. To begin with, authorities should introduce a strict regulations. For instance, The police can give a heavy fine on those who create unnecessary noise. Local councils set a strict volume limits for shops and restaurants. City planners can use smart designs to block noise. Planting more trees and plants can naturally absorb the unnecessary sound.
In conclusion, urban noise is mostly caused by busy traffic and unregulated businesses system. However by enforcing strict rules on noise level and design car free, greener areas, we can make our cities quieter and comfortable place to live in
