Nowadays there is noise prevalence in most of the public and it is becoming a problem to many people. This is attributed to increasing population resulting to overcrowding in the entertainment areas. Additionally, individuals are never keen in minimizing noise at their individual level as they are ignorant. This essay will discuss the main causes of this problem and suggest some possible solutions.
One of the main causes of noise pollution is the increasing number of people visiting entertainment places such as cinemas,clubs and stadiums. When people come together in a single place, it leads to noise build up therefore producing a significant amount of noise coupled with peoples’ ignorance in maintaining order in such places as they tend to play very loud music and use speakers to attract customers to the entertainment sites.
There are several measures that can be taken to mitigate the issue. First, the government and the relevant authorities should enforce strict noise control laws, for instance, limit the volume of the loudspeakers coupled with severe punishment to the law breakers
Another effective solution should be to educate the public on the importance of conserving noise pollution, the negative impacts caused by noise on peoples’ health such as earing impairment and disrupting the peoples mental health.Encouraging responsible behaviour among the natives.
