International tourism increases between countries due to factors like easy visa process like visa free travel, good connectivity between the countries, etc. Nowadays, people can easily travel different countries more freely as compared to past. I agree with the fact, and believes there are more pros than cons. To explain this following reasons in the below paragraph are mentioned.
Firstly, due to tourism there is culture exchange between people which builds strong bond and relation between different group of people who speak different language, practice different religion, etc. For example, India is a very diverse country and people from around the world come here to experience the the cultural and diversity of the country. These people sees ancient temples, mosques and churches and get to know about ancient kingdoms who ruled before. As a result, these people build strong relationship between the Indian people. Due to this tourism countries soft power in the world stage also increases.
Secondly, trade between the country increases which boost the economy of the respective country. Every country has some special thing which attracts people from around the world to visit and experience it. Due to this a huge tourism industry has been developed. For example, USA is famous for its education and research particularly in the field of STEM. Due to this students from around the world goes to USA for education and this is considered as education tourism. There are various different countries famous for certain things and many people visits there experience it.
Lastly, these tourism has led to creation of new jobs and which in turn lead to increase in tax collection by the government. A tourism has many industry inside of it like hotel industry (Airbnb, OYO), foods & restaurant chains (Haldirams), etc. These industry employs large number of people. For example, India is famous for affordable medical treatments like surgeries and medicines. So, many people from Africa, Central Asia and from Europe come India. As a result, generic medicine industry is developed which provide cheap medicines to these medical tourists.
In conclusion, tourism between countries has made the life of people much easier than in the past. By this people can experience different culture and can meet new people, trade between the countries is increased and many new jobs are created by this which in turn increased the tax collection of government.
