For most people health is arguably the primary need to preserve and care for, therefore, they refer to doctors and medicine as the only solution for their difficulties instead of committing to a healty way of living. I do partly agree with the statement as I recognize the importance of an active and balanced life although I still believe that doctors’ guidance and raccomandation are vital.
Moreover, becoming a doctor is not an easy path. Multiple years of study and practice have to be taken into account as for the determination and passion that are requested when progressing in this field, as my studying experience shows me. Indeed, doctors and other professional figures who operate in hospitals and clinics are generally highly-educated experts that have a deep knowledge of the subject, therefore their suggestions or work has to be recognized and appreciated. Secondly, it is only with their commitment that whenever we are facing a severe injury, we do have a chance at improving or at times surviving.
Meanwhile, we should look for parallel roads to help us feel well and healthy by improving our lifestyle. First of all, we have to consider prevention, which is guaranteed by a healthy lifestyle and allows our bodies and immune system to work harmoniously. To live healthy means controlling what we eat to maintain a monitored weight, not excess with sugars or salt and permit to our blood-flood to flow smoothly. Moreover it takes our effort to limitate or better cut off our drinking and smoking which are proven to hurt our body. Furthermore we should try out hobbies that enhance our muscular tone and also release endorphins as running or trekking. These adjustments would definitely keep us from developing multiple severe illnesses.
