In today’s world, there are many pros and cons for english that is known for being a international language. I totally agree with this statement that its benefits outweigh the disadvantages, because it is easy to understand and is more wide spread than other languages.
To begin with, everything has its benefits and disadvantages and because of it we cannot see everything black and white. In other word, some advantages that talking in english has that all nations have this ability to communicate with themselves, for trades, global economy, even diplomatic relations. What is more, we need a language that is easy for understand and well known. On the other hand, there are disadvantages. For instance, when all nations get in touch together by this reason some less known languages can be fade away.
Due to this fact i think the spread out of english is positive step for human kind to communicate easily with other people around the globe.
in conclusion, there are some advantages like being reliable and more understandable for all people around the word, and some disadvantages like despairing some languages due to wide spread of english. however, i firmly believe that its advantages are more than its disadvantages.
