Another pressing threat is the negative impact on the environment. For instance, deforestation continues as companies manufacturing computers and other gadgets establish factories, and this greatly destroys the environment. In addition, mining businesses that collect various metals to be used for creating electronics, dispose of their waste materials in rivers and oceans. This process exacerbates carbon emissions and footprints through the transportation and processing of goods and materials. Furthermore, the growing amount of waste is concerning, as many components of computers are non-biodegradable, and manufacturers often lack adequate recycling practices.
