Although such issues rarely result in a universal agreement, meaningful discussion on TV channels show more men’s sport than women’s sport can spark valuable insights. while opinions differ, I believe there are strong arguments on both sides. However, I firmly support the ideas that TV channels should give equal time for women’s sport and men’s sport. In this essay, i will explain both perspectives before arriving at a reasonal conclusion.
From my perspective, several reasons suppot this viewpoint. Firt and foremost, a large proportion of sports viewers being male, television channels tend to broadcast men’s sport programs to maximize their rating profits. Which brings numerous benefits in varios areas. A commonly accepted example is that football, inside a coffee shop, it is common to see a group of young men discussing a recent men’s football match, while women show a greater preference for discussing other topics like shopping or celebrity gossip. Showing how this idea leads to positive results. Thus, this example strengthens the position that men are usually physically more stronger and faster than women.
In addition, it is important to mention that it is necessary for television channels to provide equal sports coverage of both genders. The key reason is that it helps to create gender equality in society and increases the participation rate in womenin sports. For examples, research conducted by experts or academic institutions confirms the same idea. However, some might argue that better media coverage also enables women to make money from endorsements which improves their income, But this view is less convicing when we consider the broader benefits.
In summury, although opposing opinions exist regarding TV channels show more men’s sports than women’s sport, I firmly believe that TV channels give equal time for women’s and men’s sports.
