Some people believe that homework causes stress and pressure for students, while others think that it plays a crucial role in the education system. In my opinion, homework is necessary because it is an essential part of the learning process.
Firstly, there is a lot of evidence to prove that the cause of stress and pressure does not stem from homework, but that the main reason is actually learning styles. For instance, many students nowadays have problems with their time management, and this makes their homework pile up forcing them to pull an all-nighter to finish it, leading to stress and pressure. Therefore, if we change our learning styles, it will help us to finish homework faster and more easily and it will reduce our stress instead of staying awake all night to finish homework and causing us pressure.
Furthermore, homework should not be banned because it allows students to easily review and practice the lessons after school. Moreover, it is true that homework is actually a good tool to help teachers check how their students understand the lessons and also make sure that they are preparing the lessons before coming to school. For example, I always do homework to let the teacher know that I understand what they taught me in class.
In conclusion, homework remains a valuable part of learning, it helps students reinforce what they have learned after school and practice more. By changing our learning styles, students can turn homework into a useful tool rather than a pressure cause.
