To fulfil the dream of a better education, a lot of graduates are choosing other countries for their higher education. The main benefit of studying abroad is that it gives more exposure to the students related to different cultures, however, that’s also very expensive because of the difference between the currency value. According to me, studying abroad is far more better for students rather than being stuck in the same circle for the whole life.
Studying abroad will not only help students with better education but will also help them to learn the different cultures around the world. They can meet new people from different regions and capture different set of knowledge and information from everyone. Learning about different culture will help students learn how to grow in life and become comfortable in different situations. For example, I studied in Montreal, Canada and met many native people from Montreal. I have learn a lot about their native French culture, how they great each other on daily basic and due to this, I was able to built a really good relationship with my supervisor at my first job after graduation. This understanding of French culture has helped me a lot to grow at my work place.
However, getting used to foreign countries is not very easy as it comes with a lot of downsides as well. Many tear 1 countries have a higher currency value which can create many challenges for students. Living abroad can be really expensive sometimes as students need to take care of different life factors like rent, grocery and transportation. For instance, when I was doing my post graduation, I had to double check my budget as my part time job was not enough to pay for my expenses. Likewise in my native country, India, I had never worried about house and food payments because my family and how cost friendly it is but 1 Canadian dollar value in India is 61 Rupee, which showcase how expensive it can be to survive in such countries.
To conclude, many university students are choosing other countries around the world as a part of their degrees which is being very beneficial to understand various cultures. On the other side, surviving in a different country can be a bit expensive depending on the currency and money ratio between the two countries. In my opinion, if people can handle and control their spendings, then they can easily pursue studies in foreign counties and succeed in their life.
