In many parts of the world, there is a significant concern among people about environmental problems, namely water pollution. This essay will examine two major causes which might arise as a result of this trend and propose some ways to mitigate these problems.
On the one hand, there is an industrial waste dumping that factories are draining toxic chemicals and heavy metals directly into the river. Then, chemicals are brought algal blooms, that deprives water of oxygen and creates dead zones. As a result, polluted water become souce of dangerous illnesses for million of people. One possible solution is creating laws for the factories and surcharge with a large fine. For this reason, factories will be afraid do it twice and water pollution become less.
On the other hand, most of the people in the world are throwing rubbishes into the water. For instance, in Vietnam people tend to throw garbage into the rivers and lakes, which is very bad for their health and country reputation. If teachers were teaching their students about mentality deeply, people would not be like that. To solve this, governments should create more infrastrucutures for throwing garbage. Supporters of this view claim that in some places of the city, trash cans are located in very long distance from each other, aroung 1 km.
In conclusion, water pollution is a growing concern for people since factories and plants are draining waste incorrectly and people are throwing waste into the water. To solve this, more laws should be created and trash cans have to organized in a small distance from one another.
