Recently, by the advent of the internet, people’s life was totally transformed. They became closely connected with the new technologies. Nonetheless, while some of them are acquiring benefits from it, others are having a plethora of distasteful repercussions. I am convinced that the internet has got an exceedingly vital effect on the man’s society regardless of some disadvantages that are existing.

On the one hand, due to its simplicity and comfort, people have rapidly accustomed themselves to this new technology. Primarily, being in touch with their relatives, friends, or acquaintances, is the first and foremost aspect, which makes a great sense by virtue of the long distance between them. Next, to be up-to-date with the news of the world is a significant part of someone’s lives. A good example would be Telegram, a widespread multitask platform used not only for online communications, such as chatting, but also for reading channels that disseminate any relevant information authorized by the rules. What is more, users are allowed to create their own channels if they want. Finally, it must be clearly seen that the internet has got a deep impact on the society as a whole.

On the other hand, having an internet access might breed some unpleasant issues. The rationale for this is that there is a chance to get into trouble with the privacy. In other words, the personal data of the user can be divulged. However, I strongly advocate that people are able to seamlessly eschew this obstacle if they will be corresponding to the basic rules of the utilizing online resources. In the capacity of example, the Kaspersky Lab is posting numerous of articles on how to protect yourself from cybercriminals. In my opinion, their rules are essential for every user. To conclude, in spite of the downside of the new technologies, especially of the internet, people are gaining a plenty of perks that are worth it.

To sum up, it seems to me that the influence of the internet has got a positive effect on the people as well as negative, but the former is exceeding significantly.
