There is a statement that the crime level in many countries is increasing and becoming more violent each time, which poses a serious problem for society. I tend to believe there are several reasons and solutions for this.
Firstly, one reason for this rise in crime may be the struggle for survival. Some individuals can not afford basic needs such as medicine, so if their close ones, such as members of their family, struggle with a disease, they have no choice but to steal. Even if other ways of earning money exist, most people choose a path of crime. Another possible reason is that some people may try to earn money as soon as possible they decide to sell drugs, and by doing this, they endanger others by being self-centered. Additionally, criminal behavior can be driven by threats from others; individuals may feel they have no choice but to comply with gang demands in order to keep their families safe.
On the other hand, there are several potential solutions to address this issue. Implementing new laws or strengthening existing ones might make people think twice before committing petty theft or more serious crimes. Such actions may lead to positive consequences. Additionally, establishing charities or funds to support those in need can help address some of the underlying issues driving individuals to crime.
In conclusion, there are numerous factors contributing to the rise in crime. However, I believe that a unified approach is necessary so governments can handle this and reduce the incidence of crime, making society safer.
