during this academic year, my class and I took part in a seminar regarding if the education system put enough effort to help teenagers finding a job that reflect their skills and passions.
what we noticed during that event is that school could opt for better solutions to the problem said before. For example, one of the best options could be offering a wide range of courses, which enables the students to aknowledge a large amount of information about different topics, helping them to be more aware about their interests and, as a consequence, about what they would like to do as a future profession.
However, the introduction of work experience programmes in school’s courses could be a even more efficient solution, due to the practical work that young people would be able to do. In fact, the mere study of a subject may be totally different from its related job and, for this reason, it is essential to practise and experiment different jobs. Through this way, students would be able to understand what carrer fits better them and their future prospective. For istance, when I was in my last year of high school, I did some practical works in a junior school, where I understand that doing the teacher, that was at first my dream job, was not as I aspected and thus I had the opportunity to think about another career.
In conclusion, there are two main solutions that the educational system could opt to solve the problem of finding the right job carrer. One of them is to offer a wide option of courses. The other one is to gain work experience
