When feeling unpleasant with some unqualified products or poor services, some people choose to complain by writing letters or emails, while others enjoy face-to-face meetings. Personally, I firmly believe that each option has its advantages. Thus, if I have to choose, I prefer encountering directly.
On the one hand, writing can bring some benefits. Firstly, it is considered as the more convenient way by helping us save a plethora of time and effort. You do not need to take the car and travel so far to the company. Secondly, this method can avoid uncomfortable controversy. In the talk, a customer may receive unwanted answers, informal attitudes, and this will lead to serious conflict between the two sides.
On the other hand, having a meeting is also an ideal way. Firstly, it helps to solve the case effectively. Customers will have the chance to describe more details about the problems, and the company will have a better understanding of their complaints. Secondly, customers will receive the reply instantly. It does not take too much time to wait for the reply email or letter.
To sum up, complaints should be sent in some ways including indirect and direct ways. From my perspective, I believe that both ways have their benefits and drawbacks. However, I support that speaking directly is the most effective solution to solve my request. Therefore, people need to consider which way is suitable for them.
