Some people believe that famous people should not get involved in politics, because they don’t have enough knowledge about politics. While others argue that, they can be useful in changing society as they have more fan supporters.
On the one hand, for celebrities playing role in political events might be difficult. This means celebrities are famous because they act, sing, or play sports – not because they understand politics, as politics are serous and complex, only experts or politicians can talk about it. For example, famous people cannot solve difficult problems in society especially that is completely different from their field. However I believe that, politicians can solve problems through help of celebrities.
On the other hand, celebrities can be helpful for society because they are well-known and can influence large audiences. When they speak about social or political issues, more people become aware of these problems. Therefore, their popularity can be used to attract more people. For example, one well-known actor/actress who have more followers that, observe them, and one politician that no one knows about him/her, obviously individuals will trust more to people that they know well and will give more attention to them. I argue that this argument is stronger with its effectiveness.
In conclusion, some people might think celebrities should not be allowed to be in politics, because of lack of knowledge. However, I believe that, famous people can play an important role in changing society with their huge amount of viewers and supporters.
