It is often argued that these days the most essential issue is global warming. However, other believe that woodland destruction has more negative impact on our world. Inthis essay i will discuss both views and present my own viewpoint.
Global warming is a major environmental issue because it changes the Earth’s climate and affects people around the world. The main cause of global warming is pollution from cars, factories, and the burning of fossil fuels. As a result, temperatures are increasing every year. This leads to melting glaciers, rising sea levels, and extreme weather conditions such as floods, droughts, and heatwaves. Many countries may face serious problems in the future if governments do not take action to reduce pollution and protect the environment
On the other hand, deforestation is also a serious concern. Forests are cut down for farming, construction, and wood production. Because of this, many animals lose their natural habitats and some species may become extinct. In addition, trees help absorb carbon dioxide, so cutting them down increases air pollution and makes global warming worse. Although some countries have started planting more trees and protecting forests, deforestation still continues in many parts of the world.
In conclusion, both global warming and deforestation are harmful to the environment. Therefore, governments and individuals should work together to reduce pollution and create a cleaner and safer future.
