Nowadays, remote work became significant part of many peoples lifes. Some people believe that this can lead to the decline of traditional city centers and urban communities. Others think that cities will adapt and remain essential hubs for social and professional life.
On the one hand, a lot of people really choose online jobs, than offline, because of their own comfort. Thats mean that less people are now searching for jobs that can be only offline. For example, people cant work doctor or cleaner online. So, in that way, it can lead to the decline of traditional city centers and urban communities.
On the other hand, if a lot of people in future will prefer only remote works, it will rise sallaries for offline jobs. And because of that, people will choose between a lot of money or their comfort, and, of course, they will prefer money. For instance, person will choose well-paid offline job, rather than work at home and have a litle bit more liberty.
In conclusion, I think, that the increase of remote work will impact, but rather to sallaries of offline works, than to the decline of traditional city centers and urban communities. Moreover, I believe govermant will react and create the best atmosphere and environment for offline workers, by creating hubs for social and professional life.
