Back from the days during the pandemic, work from home has been turned up to be a technical trend that was followed by many companies. It is a kind of savior from going to office in such tough situations and it is still being continued.Working from home is a double-sided coin.I will now explain them in detail.
On the one hand ,the current generation mostly prefer remote working. For example, let us consider a hard-working software engineer, who should travel around 2 hours to reach his office location. By choosing work from home, he can obtain many perks. Firstly, he can reduce the travel time and also save some money. Secondly, he can skip the morning hustle like packing food and doing house chores. (cause as the timings will be flexible they can be done adjustably). Lastly, he can work in a comfortable environment rather than a strict space. This also improves the work efficiency.
On the other hand, there are many drawbacks too. For instance, there are people , who sit uninterruptedly for several hours in the name of work- from-home. This majorly reflects on a person’s physical health. Due to this, he/she may experience adverse effects such as back pain, spondylitis and disk problems too. Another major concern is about the diet. Going to office, can involve some or the other form of physical movements. But in case of flexible working, people tend follow the cycle of eat-work-repeat. I would like to conclude that, Working from home is godd but only just working is not correct. One should make a strict timetable and give some time for their physical and mental health in order to stay fit despite the lenghty strecth of work.
