n recent times, advertising is one of the most powerful marketing tools. A fair number of people believe that it motivates individuals to purchase new items that are not necessarily essential in their personal lives. On the other hand, some individuals believe that it simply provides information about new products. I firmly agree with the latter view, and my reasons are explained in the following paragraphs.
There are numerous reasons why I support the latter view. First and foremost, every day, a multitude of new products is launched to make human lives easier than ever before. For instance, OLA recently launched their first electric bike to promote green energy. This initiative not only conserves natural resources for the future but also offers a more cost-effective alternative in terms of fuel consumption. When companies advertise their products, people become informed about these new offerings.
Additionally, through marketing, individuals are empowered to compare products with their competitors. By doing so, they can easily identify the items that are best suited for them, gaining insight into the features of the products in detail. This benefits not only consumers but also enables companies to expand their businesses.
It is important not to overlook the negative aspects of this phenomenon. At times, digital marketing influences the younger generation, who blindly follow what they see on television, leading to shifts in children’s mindsets and pressuring parents to purchase certain products.
In conclusion, while marketing is undeniably an effective means of expanding businesses, there should be regulations in place to limit the promotion of certain products.
