Although, attending shops was a kind of chore in the past. Nowadays, it is becoming extremely prevalent among citizens to find shopping as an entertainment. From my perspective, this change has both good and bad sides, but it definitely influences our daily lifestyle.
To begin with, it is crucial to mention that our ancestors didn’t have a big variety of products. What I mean is that most of the usual things to us weren’t accessible or were too expensive because of the transportation issues at that time. For instance, people couldn’t offer anything from Chinese markets or afford to travel to other shops in order to compare prices. In addition, the vast majority of people lived in the remote areas from shopping centers, consequently, it took them a long period of time to get to the nearest goods store.
Furthermore, it has become more convenient to shop these days because most of the stores are gathered together in huge malls. As well as that, the prices on transportation dropped significantly because of the volume of different goods.
I personally believe that adults have become busier in recent years and attending shopping malls has become a leisure activity to them. For example, parents can gather with their children and stroll around the stores looking for a nice bargain while communicating with each other. Also, shopping centers are safe because of the cameras everywhere.
In conclusion, shopping has transformed from a necessity into a popular form of entertainment. It provides people with a chance to get some rest from their routine. This trend definitely changed humans attitude to the shopping and became an essential part of daily life
