In today’s world, people believes that the academic topics are the most vital part of the school curriculum and other topics such as physical education are confusing children instead of give them focus on being successful in academic subjects. I strongly disagree with this statement due to the benefits that non-academic subjects can have for adolescent.

Firstly, most of parents think that academic success is the most vital part of their child’s life and involving themselves in learning other skills that are out of academic knowledge can have negative effect on young people. In addition, being knowledgeable in non-academic education can improve the adolescent’s intelligence as perfect as academic skills do. For instance, learning a new sport can improve the level of both mental and physical health and help young people to be more energetic or relax during the exams.

Secondly, all of the children are not supposed to be successful in academic way. In contrast, some people are made for have better skills in non-academic subjects and that is not a reason for making them embarrassed. On the other hand, schools are responsible to contain all of the types of education to let adolescent find their best route for the feature.

Finally, world dose not need one million doctor or teacher, we also need athletes or similar types of people for improve the world. Everyone are free to chose what they want to be and the schools or parents should be with them for helping adolescent to be what they dream.

To conclude, there is a belief that parents think non-academic subjects are useless for young people. On the contrary, we can not regret the amount of benefits that young people can get from this subjects in school.
