The beauty of the Belarusian land can be described as “quiet beauty.” Its charm is evident in the aroma of Belovezhskaya Pushcha, the melody of the Neman River, the tranquility of the Braslav Lakes, and the squawk of storks.
How much grief has Belarus endured? What wars and sufferings has it experienced? It has withstood the tests of time and remained as clean and bright as ever. The greatest wealth of Belarus is its people: generous and supportive. The capital of our Motherland has been destroyed dozens of times but has survived, been reborn from the ruins, gained independence, and today, with its head held high, receives guests from other countries, demonstrating all the power, love, and beauty of its native land.
Every year, our country becomes more beautiful; thus, to improve the standard of living, President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree declaring 2025 as the Year of Improvement.
This year will be a significant stage in the development of Belarus, aimed at improving the lives of citizens and increasing the overall prosperity of the country.
The Year of Improvement in Soligorsk started with active changes. Many projects have already been accomplished, thanks to the labor of all residents who contribute to the development of the region. The city has changed beyond recognition. My heart yearns to come here again and again!
