In recent times, people in most of the nations visit stores and purchase eatables produced all across the globe. This essay will discuss the merits and demerits of such development mentioned above.

To begin with, the primary benefit is customers will have a wide variety of products to choose from under a single roof and it saves their time as they can buy the items based on their requirements in a single stretch.Additionally,it also helps to reduce the fuel consumption because it doesn’t require frequent visit to the market for purchase. Moreover, this also contributes to reduction in air pollution.Firstly,it will not only have positive impact on consumers but also provide wide range of opportunities to farmers who live in rural areas.Farmers producing rare items can make money if they sell their yield to traders in cities as these people sell them to marts which wish to have all the products produced everywhere.Secondly, organic food items which are naturally grown in farms without any preservatives or chemicals will also be in reach for large population. This also contributes to health and diet.Lastly, when there are things available which are grown across the world also provide awareness of other country traditional items and spices. For example, brown bread which is famous in other nations is commonly consumed by people almost everywhere.

On the other hand, the negative side of this aspect is that farmers from rural areas can be cheated by the dealers in the cities or they may not get the sufficient pay for the amount of goods they sold. However, this type of situation happens when people are money minded and wanted to have profits anyway without any ethics or values.Sometimes, people doesn’t like to try out new items .For instance,a person goes to the mart to buy chilli powder and the seller says that the stock is over and suggests other alternative. The person was not satisfied with it because he/she wanted the item for which they are looking for and do not want to try the new one.

In conclusion, finding food produced all over the world in one place leads to positive development of economy and the citizens. The positive aspects outweigh the negative ones.
