In contemporary society, the issue of small shops were replaced by shopping malls has become increasingly significant. This essay will analyse advantages and disadvantages of this development, and before present my own view.
On the one hand, the shopping malls bring considerable benefits to induviduals and the community. A significant benefit is high-quality facilities. For example, in Kerala famous shopping complex is Lulu Mall, it fully developed and it includes different types of shops, such as branded cloths, food court, gaming area electronic gadgets and enterting parties and so on. As a result, people can purchase every items in a single shop. Consequently, this approach appears to b highly effective.
On the other hand, It may lead to certain drawbacks. The major concern is the majority of the small shops are owned by needy people or middile-class people. Thereby, if people buy all items from a single shop like Lulu mall, it will create detrimental impacts on the small shop entrepreneurs. Additionally, it will be create a financial issues on every nation, because small shops are the backbone of every country.
However, nowdays the large shopping malls are build in cities. Therefore, small shops have chance to sustain in country sides. For example, in Kerala people have few large shopping malls, such as Lulu Mall, Obron Mall, Best one mall in city areas, and rural areas are handiled buy the small shops.
In conclusion, although both sides have negative and positive aspets, I believe both sectors are important to the community. Ultimately, a balance apprach is essential to ensure the long-term benefits to society.
